As the colder weather is slowly fading away and we are getting back to our usual Florida sunshine there are multiple opportunities at Revive to Connect, Grow, and Serve. We are grateful that you are part of what God is doing in and through Revive Church. We praise God for bringing us all together to be able to be His hands and feet for the purpose of praising and serving Him!

Special Update from Our Women's Ministry: New Name! Revive women’s ministry is now Women Together. Watch for upcoming opportunities to connect, grow and serve together. For starters:
We compiled the feedback from the Mix and Mingle in December. About 40% of women responded that they most need fellowship/friendship/support/feeling connected. Almost 30% said prayer was their greatest need/concern. We are using this information to plan this year’s Women Together events and activities. Thank you for your feedback.
Bridal shower: We were honored to bless Courtney Blue with a bridal shower on February 19. Thank you to Jane Unbehagen for opening her home. A good time was had by all!
Walk in Her Shoes: A Woman’s Choice Pregnancy Help Center will present “Walk in Her Shoes”, an opportunity to experience the story of a young woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, on Tuesday morning, March 29. This interactive experience is by appointment only. We would like to participate in this event as a group: Women Together! If you are interested please email info@revivechurchlakeland.com or call Joyce at 863 944-4346 so that we can make a group reservation with A Woman’s Choice. If you are not free in the mornings, do not worry! An evening event will be scheduled in May. Please let us know by March 22 if you wish to attend the morning event on March 29, and we will get back with you regarding the exact time and location. A Woman’s Choice is a local ministry that assists women to choose life for their unborn children, offers a variety of support services and presents the gospel of Jesus Christ to women facing unplanned pregnancy.
Mission Prayer Spotlight: We believe James 5:16- “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” (NLT) And we believe the women of Revive are prayer warriors! Each month, Women Together will spotlight an individual or ministry that is doing Jesus’ work locally or around the world. We ask that together, we pray daily for that ministry for a month.
In March, please pray for KidsPack, and Revive’s involvement in it.
Revive is 1 of 13 churches in Polk County who are partnering with Kids Pack, a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding disadvantaged children. Every Friday, kids who would otherwise go hungry receive a backpack of nutritious food for the weekend. Once a month, the Revive family packs the food for our partner schools in the Lake Wales area. And once a week faithful volunteers from Revive deliver the food to those schools to distribute to children in need.Specific prayer needs include more opportunities to build relationships and point people to Jesus. Pray for continued support, and more people to pack and deliver so that KidsPack can serve more kids.
