“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits.” (Psalm 103:1) Have you stopped lately to think about all the gifts God has given you? Your eyesight, your ability to lead others, a good education . . . these are all gifts from your heavenly Father. Has God given you a family? Has He given you sufficient clothes? These, too, are gifts from God’s hand. Take time to reflect on His many gifts to you and it will increase your joy. Then remind yourself of God’s promises regarding generosity. God promises that if you sow bountifully, you will reap bountifully. So give! Give abundantly! Give extravagantly! Give and it will be honored by God. Don’t be afraid of outgiving God . . . it can’t be done!
