"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness." (Jeremiah 31:3) This verse of Scripture is a great reminder that God loves us. He is fully acquainted with all our ways. He knows all. He sees all. Not one of us is hidden from His sight. All things are open to him and laid bare before Him . . . our darkest secret, our deepest shame, our stormy past, our worst thought, our hidden motive, our vilest imagination . . . even our vain attempts to cover the ugly with snow-white beauty. He knows our frame. He remembers we are dust. Best of all, He loves us still!
