"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." (Proverbs 9:10) A Christian who wants the whole purpose of God must not forget about kingdom commitment. That means your motives must be investigated. For example, when it's time for you to purchase something large, perhaps like a car or house or boat, you must deal with it before God and ask if this is His will. Would this honor Him? Would this glorify Him? I am not suggesting that anyone take a vow of poverty by any means. This is not about you going hungry and giving up all nice things. But you must give up control of them. Give everything you have to God and trust Him to give back all that you need!
