"Do not worry about how or what you are to say; for it will be given you in that hour what you are to say." (Matthew 10:19) It is truly amazing the way the Lord works . . . He often does not give us wisdom ahead of time, but just at the appropriate time when we need it. He doesn't advance us a bundle of insight . . . He gives us wisdom and insight right when we need them; at the very instant they are required. If you're a parent you may have experienced this. You find yourself in a situation you never anticipated, and could not have prepared for. Then suddenly you're at the critical juncture where your child is looking into your eyes, depending on you for an answer. Not always, but often, your are given the words you need. Later you realize that they were words beyond your own wisdom. At that moment you need to say a silent prayer of thanks . . . "Thank you Lord. That is exactly what needed to be said!"
