"Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) How wonderful it is that God cares about all those things that worry us and prey upon our thoughts. He cares about them even more than we care about them. Not a single nagging, aching, worrisome, stomach-wrenching, blood-pressure-raising thought escapes our Heavenly Father's notice. The Phillips translation of the above verse is this: "You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon Him, for you are His personal concern." Isn't that the best news ever? God genuinely cares. He is able to bear all the weight of your worry. Because you are His personal concern, you never disappear from His radar screen!
